Losartan Tablets
Your body’s receptors for the hormone angiotensin II are blocked by losartan.
Your blood vessels narrow as a result of angiotensin II binding to these receptors, and your body releases a hormone that instructs your kidneys to retain sodium.
Your blood vessels will relax and allow blood to pass through them more readily if these receptors are blocked.
Your body expels water and sodium when these receptors are blocked.
These benefits can lower blood pressure, improve heart function, and perhaps lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage progression.
