Loratadine Tablets
The short-term relief of hay fever symptoms, which are caused by allergies to dust, pollen, or other airborne particles, is achieved with the use of loratadine. Sneezing, a runny nose, and itchy eyes, nose, or throat are some of these symptoms. Additionally, loratadine is used to relieve hive-related redness and itching.
Loratadine is available as a syrup (liquid), a tablet, and a tablet that dissolves quickly when used orally. Typically, it is taken once daily, either with or without meals. Pay close attention to the instructions on the box label, and ask your pharmacist or doctor to clarify any parts you are unsure about. Administer loratadine as prescribed. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor or as indicated by the package label; do not take it more or less frequently. You can feel sleepy if you take more loratadine than is recommended.
If you are taking the fast disintegrating tablet, take it from the blister package without breaking it by following the instructions on the package. The tablet should not be forced through the foil.
