Venlafaxine Tablets
Venlafaxine belongs to a class of antidepressants known as SNRIs, or serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake inhibitors.
It is believed to function by raising the brain’s concentrations of the mood-enhancing neurotransmitters noradrenaline and serotonin.
In addition to depression, it is occasionally used to treat anxiety and panic attacks.
Compared to certain previous antidepressants, venlafaxine has less adverse effects and can aid in the recovery of depression.
It is only available with a prescription and comes in tablet and capsule form.
