Sublocade Tablets
Sublocade, also known as buprenorphine, is used to treat opioid dependence in patients who have taken buccal or sublingual buprenorphine for at least seven days.
Opioid medications include heroin and narcotic painkillers.
The drug Sublocade extended-release injectable is a member of the opiate partial agonist drug class.
By having effects that are comparable to those of opioid medications, buprenorphine helps people avoid experiencing withdrawal symptoms when they stop using them.
Sublocade can only be accessed through a unique program.
You have to be enrolled in the program and be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of this medication.
Sublocade should not be taken as a pain reliever.
Information regarding the Sublocade brand of injectable buprenorphine is available in this pharmaceutical guide. Another kind of buprenorphine injection used to treat moderate to severe pain is called Buprenex.
